I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again - it’s always such a treat being reunited with a family to celebrate another family member’s wedding! I first photographed Lucy’s sister, Emily’s wedding back in 2013. That was such an amazing wedding with a deliberate rustic vibe, hosted at Harrington Farm. This time around, it was all about the city - Boston! And what better place to host both your ceremony and reception than the Boston Public Library; the very place where Lucy studied-away for years. It no doubt holds a special place in her heart, and let’s face it, the architecture is beautiful. The outdoor garden provided such a classic/timeless setting, while the Abbey Room set the stage for nothing but fun! Lucy and Jeff did manage to sneak a way for a moment to catch up on some reading, and later that night, Jeff joined the band to perform, not one, but two songs; contributing vocals and rhythm guitar on a Darius Rucker song, and lead guitar on a Lenny Kravitz tune - he rocked! That was beyond fun guys - thanks so much for the invite!

Jennifer and Howie / Boston Harbor Hotel
Jennifer and Howie's wedding at the Boston Harbor Hotel was so much fun last month! This is the couple that brought Patriots gear and a regulation football to their engagement shoot - I knew the wedding was going to be a blast, and it was! It was a crisp fall day with some strong winds off the balcony suite where we had planned on documenting their first look. Jennifer of course, wasn't phased at all by the wind and Howie was "as cool as a cucumber." This couple compliments each other so well; it was so great to see that in action on their wedding day among their family members and dearest friends. What a treat! Congratulations to you both!!!

Sophia and Tommy / St. Athanasius and Lakeview Pavilion
What a great time we had celebrating with Sophia and Tommy last month! Such a nice humble and kind couple with a zest for life. It was really nice to see a few familiar faces from past weddings as well, including Rev. Dr. Nicholas who as gracious as he is, always catches the couple off guard by delivering a few jokes. There was no shortage of dollar bills flying through the air at the reception, as everyone danced and celebrated through the night. That was a real treat; thank you for the invite Sophia and Tommy, and congratulations!
