It had been a few years since I've documented a wedding at the Omni Parker House in Boston, that is until August of this year. Amy and Reed's wedding marked my 2nd trip to the Omni in one month. It's a really great venue steeped in history. You almost feel like you're in the Boston of old. A bit of time traveling is always fun when you're a photographer. The ceremony was held in the Press Room. Lined with wood walls and sconces, it has a very warm quality to it - - fitting for any wedding. And it just seemed perfect for Amy and Reed -- an avid horse ridder and fireman. Two passions which are pretty much timeless.
Amy and Reed shared many laughs throughout the day. It was not unlike our engagement shoot last December. However, this time around we had the warmth on our side. But on each occasion, I noticed that Reed has this ability to make Amy laugh without any words! Just a look is all it takes and she belly's over. And he didn't hold back - not even during the ceremony. The two of them together really made everyone glow that day. Now that was fun! Thanks guys and congrats!
Also, a BIG welcome back to Reed, who served our country, and made it home safely to marry his bride!
