Cynthia and Brian at The Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA

I first met Cynthia 5 years ago. At the time, she was a bridesmaid in a wedding I was documenting at the Crane Estate in Ipswich. Fast forward to almost five years later, and I'm with her again, at of all places, the Crane Estate! This time it was her turn to walk down the aisle. Both Brian and her loved the setting so much they decided it would be perfect for their wedding. And it was pretty much that! The weather couldn't have been better, and there was even a deer spotting!

Vinita and Trevor at the Providence Public Library

It was a great pleasure to be invited to spend the weekend with both Vinita and Trevor, and their families. I felt the warmth and love from the very moment I showed up, and this really made me feel even more present in the moment with them. While their overall color theme for the wedding was purple, I think just about every other color was represented in the ornate outfits everyone wore. Everything was held at the Providence Public Library. The architecture in and outside of this building is just incredible. It really is the perfect setting for a wedding. And it was so cool to see it transformed complete with an Indian mandap. If you've never been to an Indian wedding, I highly recommend adding it to the bucket list. The culture is so inviting, and the words spoken during the ceremony really make you stop and think of how grateful we must be to be here, living. Congratulations guys - see you again later this summer for your sister, Wendy's wedding!

Lauren and Andrew- Better Weather Shoot, Newport, RI

Lauren and Andrew first got in touch with me after viewing my work from a wedding I documented at The Castle Hill Inn in Newport. At the time, they weren't sure where they were going to host their wedding celebration but they knew they wanted to work with me. And I was very flattered of course. Soon after that they decided to book their wedding at the Castle Hill Inn. They knew it had a lot of possibilities for photographs. Fast forward to their wedding day, and it rained. And not just a little rain, it was actually a Nor'Easter on October 29th. It turned out to be the worst storm the area would see all fall and winter season. No pressure on me at all, right? Well, you know what? Lauren, Andrew, friends and family all decided to have a blast anyway! The couple even ran out into the 50 mph gusts and rain to take photos with us! I've never seen a bride so excited to get outside and shoot! Later that night as everyone was dancing I leaned over to Lauren and said, "we'll come back for more photos!" This past week we did just that! And as it turns out, Lauren and Andrew also purchased their first home together on the day of our shoot. I think this is a special date of it's own which they won't soon forget. Congrats again guys!
